June Car of the Month Submissions
Anyone can post one picture of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.
Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.
If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.
At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to win again for 12 months.
All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).
If you have submitted a car in the past, but were not selected as a winner, feel free to submit another pic. You can continue to enter each month until you win.
Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.
GET THOSE SUBMISSIONS IN!!!

This is my 95 Formula. I bought it this year from Gonzo.
It has an LQ4 swapped in with a mild cam. Full exhaust: long tubes, corsa catback and a electric QTP cutout. 8 point cages. Subframe connectors and jesus christ wide tires.

1999 Firebird
this is my 1999 firebird. ive owned it for about 12 months now. it is my pride and joy. it is completely stock with no work done to it. i plan on down the road when i have money, to buy a set of chrome trans am rims for it. other things i plan on doing to it is new fog lights and driving lights, bumper fixed,(should be soon) exhaust, and tinted windows. because of a recent accident redbird will be down for a bit but will hopefully be back soon!

My name is James Newcomb. This is my 1988 Iroc. I've had this car for about 5 1/2 years now. It's got a functional ram air hood, hooker headers, high flow cat, throttle body air foil, and a flowmaster 80 series muffler. Reupholstered custom front and back seats, custom bent exhaust notched into the rear bumper, custom paint, blue realistic ghost flames with super extra heavy metal flake! still saving for a new motor =(

My name is Jeffrey Conover, and this is my 1996 Camaro. Many of the upgrades are involed in the suspension, which include Bilstein shocks/Eibach springs, 3 point SFC, strut tower brace, tubular LCA's, adjustable PHB, LT1 rear brakes/ 4:10 posi rear, and 35/25mm sway bars.
The exterior has Corvette GS replica rims (9.5/11in) GS replica stripes, black taillights and front lights, an SS wing, carbon fiber front emblem, and a shortie antenna. For the most part the interior is stock except for an oil temp gauge and A/F ratio gauge.
Performance mods includes an SLP CAI, Pace Setter headers, A/C delete, and a custom side exit exhaust.

I bought this car in November of 2009 from deadtrend1. Never thought of owning a LT1 but it was a deal I couldn't pass up. The car has a LT4 hot cam, BMR SFC's, a hooker cat back, an ls1 brake swap, as well as many other mod's. The last time this car was at the track it ran a 13.1 @ 109. This car makes Vroom noises and I like it!

Vinnie Spatola
99 Camaro Z28
I bought the car in January, 2008 completely stock and have been modifying it ever since. I put an LS1 shortblock in it from a 2002 car, 2005 LS6 heads, and Comp Cam 232/234 cam along with supporting mods. It also has a monster level 3 clutch, tick master cylinder, and a Moser 9inch with 3.5inch driveshaft. Now that I'm going off to college I expect the car to become a garage queen for the next few years.

The car is a 98 Z28 automatic with 75xxx miles. It was my first car I saved and paid payemnts for. I fell in love with the car when I saw it and my dad being a old muscle car guy himself didn't hurt. Currently the car has run of the mill boltons headers, catted y pipe, ls6 intake, p+p tb, lid, ram air kit, 25% under drive pulley, and a ECS street tune. Cosmetically the car has a feedom design spoiler, cowl hood, and black halo headlights. Suspension mods are on the way.

My name is Ryan and this is my 01 Z28 6 speed. She currently has about 123,000 on her. This is my first LS car that i have owned and i love it.Its still pretty much bone stock minus the free mods and the chrome ss 10 spokes ( not pictured ) but i do have lots of plans for it such as heads cam and full bolt ons. I picked up this car in Jacksonville FL and it was a FL car its entire life before i came back to jersey. I got the car for a steal we traded even trade for my girls 02 honda civic. when they said even trade i never looked back.

Name is mike the car is a 1995 Firebird Formula and this is our story. Found on craigslist in Jackson listed for $800.00 I decided to get on it as soon as possible. The car was filthy filthy from being in a backyard all winter under an oak tree. She would not fire and the PO just didn't have the time or the knowledge to get her running, so i bought her, and now shes back to life and all it needed was an opti, plugs and wires, and a starter. the only mods on the car right now is a K&N CAI and a powdercoated black aluminum intake elbow. future mods include a magnaflow Y-pipe and hi-flow cat and a SLP loudmouth 1 cat back

1995 V6 Firebird
My Firebird is my first car. I picked the car up when i was 15 so i had my own car to drive around when I got my permit. After a couple weeks I changed the rims, exhuast, intake and a tuner chip. My friends and I love driving around with the t-tops off and the windows down on the way to the shore and around town. It may not be a V8 but it's still fun to drive around. Over the time having the car i've taken many photos with it and made a few friends with the car. All around i love my car.
