Simple exhaust ?
Right now currently have stock exhaust manifolds to stock y w/ cats out a magnaflow catback w/ qtp cutout on the I-pipe.
I like the sound of my magnaflow and being semi quite, and i love the convenience of a cutout except i want to change the tone of it. Would a resonator before the cutout make a big difference in the sound? the cutout seems to have a somewhat flat sound

depending on when your next time you need to go for inspection, you could gut your stock cats, and hopefully in time be able to get headers with high flow cats so then you could pass inspections unless you know someone to pay to pass you.
