December Car of the Month Submissions

Anyone can post one picture of only their Camaro or Firebird in this thread.

Please include your name and a short paragraph (at least a few sentences) describing the mods done to the car and/or a short story about the car as well.

If this is not posted in this thread by the time voting begins, your car will not be included in the vote.

At the last week of the month we will post a poll that will last for one week and the winner will get to spend the following month showcased on the home page of the site. Past winners will not be eligible to enter again for 12 months.

All submitted pictures should be a minimum size of 640 x 480, as this is the size of the image that will be posted on the home page. If you aren't sure of the size, post it up the largest image you have (within reason).

If you have submitted a car in the past, but were not selected as a winner, feel free to submit another pic. You can continue to enter each month until you win.

Please limit this thread to posts submitting pictures only. Comments and other chit-chat will be removed.

GET THOSE SUBMISSIONS IN!!!

this is my first car. its a sunset orange metallic v6 linked to a 5 speed manual. stock internals and probably will stay that way. appearance mods ss hood and wheels. the car had 56,XXX miles on it when purchased a year ago and now has 64,XXX miles. this is the car of my dreams other than it being a v6 i absolutely love it. the color is one of the best things about the car. ive rarely seen som cars maybe 3 ever on the road. i love the way this car is a looker especially when the t-tops are off. rarely do you ever see a young kid with a nice car that keeps it clean. shes a dd but i always wash it every weekend and try to wax it at least once a month to keep the paint shinning.

thanks to sweetbmxrider for the awesome photo

This is my 95 V6 Firebird, it's my daily driver. I got the car almost 3 years ago before I could drive with 78k on it. She now has 93k on it. The car is fun to drive in and I love useing the t-tops. The car has also gotten me into taking pictures here and there. Also friends now go out with me and we all get pictures. The car has brought on a lot of good things. It may be a V6 but its still fun to drive.

2002 Camaro Z28

This is my 2002 Camaro Z28. MMM, hard top, leather, A4. I bought the car back in October of 09 bone stock with 35,000 miles on it. It has been my daily driver ever since and now has 44,000 miles on it. I have been slowly changing a few things as I have the money. It currently has an SLP Loudmouth 1, SLP Lid, K&N Filter. I changed the looks with a black billet grille and black ZR1 wheels wrapped in Nitto NT 555's.

Dave Martin's
1987 IROC-Z Camaro

I've owned the car for 11 years now and modified it quite a bit. Upgraded from the original 305 to a Goodwrench crate 350 under the TPI setup. Upgraded 700-R4 with a bunch of B&M goodies and Richmond 3.73 gears out back. I did 90% of the bodywork myself prior to having it painted a few years ago; then I designed some custom vinyl stripes too. I'm running 2" lowering spindles up front with a modified 13" corvette brake setup attached. Adjustable shocks/struts, new springs and aluminum wheels(which I hope to replace soon). DynoDon's coated headers and a 3" Hooker exhaust worked around the full S&W subframe kit. Recent POR-15 undercoating, new carpet inside and a big sound system. check my website's sub-pages for other mods.

1996 Z28 Camaro

Purchased in 2008 while i was in Iraq with Heads/Cam/Intake and a stock bottom end. After doing weight reduction, getting a new clutch, and putting some 4.30 gears in it i ran as fast as 11.53 @ 120 MPH and blew up the Opti-spark. Before deploying again in 2010 i decided to send the car to have a forged 383 built with a converted single plane intake and a TH400 with a trans brake to back it up. Pretty much everything in the car has been replaced. It is currently waiting for a dyno tune then will be hitting the track. Nitrous passes in the spring once it has 3.90 gears in it.

My name is Ryan and this is my 01 Z28 6 speed.I bought it in october of 2008 and it currently has about 123,000 on it. This is my first LS car that i have owned and i love it.Its still pretty much bone stock minus the free mods and an SLP lid. I just recently installed a monster level 2 clutch kit with slave.i also have chrome ss 10 spokes an slp grille with ss spoiler and my ss hood .I do have lots of plans for it such as heads cam and full bolt ons. I picked up this car in Jacksonville FL and it was a FL car its entire life before i came back to jersey. I got the car for a steal we traded even trade for my girls 02 honda civic. when they said even trade i never looked back.
