Shot LS1 block

Got an LS1 with a hole in the side that looked like the Kool Aid dude would make when coming into your house? Did a piston decide to see what was on the other side of the cylinder wall? did you forget to put oil in it, turn it on, and just hit the rev limiter until a banshee like schreech came out of the motor and your not sure why it wont turn over anymore? I maye be interested. I need a block for measurements. Operation Feather is in the planning stages right now, and I have to see whats plausible and economical for this swap.

Let me say I'm not spending $100 for a spent block. Why? It's beat, it's a pile of aluminum, it's worth less then the tissue you just blew into, if you want one less unsightly object in your yard, then by all means reply. I'll throw like 30 bucks for it, but that's about it.

i sold one not that long ago, but just wanted to give a heads up that the scrap value of the block is pretty good. i believe a few years ago i got 70-80 per LS block(more with heads).

I just got about $47 from a scrap yard about 2 months ago out here. Had a rod snap and throw a hole in both sides of the block. So $30 isnt all that far off. If anyone has one, this would be a good way to get rid of it without having to haul it out to a yard.
