Daily Driver tire questions

I wanna make a nice gesture and put some new tires on my sisters '01 Grand Am. Shes pretty broke and lets me borrow her car when my explorer is busted. I was thinking about the Hankook Optimos, http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....omCompare1=yes

I don't wanna spend more than maybe $90 a tire, cheaper is better obviously, but I don't want to get her **** tires. Just really want something that is gonna last a while, will do well all year round, and aren't extremely noisy.

Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Pretty popular tire size IIRC. Id look at Cooper, BFG, some private branded Goodyears or Bridgestones, or Kuhmos.

1.) Get a hold of NJ Torque and see if he can do anything for you. He's at the Goodyear near Taco Bell

2.) Coopers in that size are sold at American tire over by Little Brothers. I know for a fact that they carry them.

Mastercraft Avenger Touring LSR - http://mastercrafttires.com/FI_Uploa...ring_LSR_T.png

Made by Cooper, 80k mile treadwear warranty. Never had a problem with Mastercrafts, run them on most of my family's DDs.

You said you go to Rider, right? The Lukoil just north of Rider (with the crazy expensive gas prices) sells all brands of Coopers. Stop in and tell the manager that I sent you, he'll take care of you.
