My new toy has...only 255hp?

I bought another jet ski this weekend.

2008 Sea Doo RXT-X (-x = race ski...minimal electronics, custom seat for more aggressive riding style, fully adjustable handlebars, finger throttle, etc).

The other important detail - 255 hp, supercharged and intercooled 1.5 liter 3 cylinder. There's a video on youtube of this ski beating an F430 to 50 mph. 0-50 comes in under 3 seconds.

Tried out Turtle Wax's black box stuff on the hull. Came out pretty good.

Can't see the pics at work but congrats! Sounds like it would be a lot of fun. I think my old 1300 Kawasaki had around 140hp and I thought that thing was fast.

Only in impromptu races, nothing official. No speed limits on the bay so I can say that I only participate in street races with my jet ski . I have friends with skis that do 80+ and beat Cigarette style boats in races.

Almost . Not only is it faster than the vert but it's also probably quicker to 50 or 60 mph than 95% of NJFBOA

And you rarely even use all 40 horses! I want to try and play with the Jersey Outlaws next race...
