Cool Threw my money at something else!

Well my car STILL IS NOT DONE at the shop so i have given up all hope and went to a whole new hobby altogether! I went out and bought myself a Canon 550d t2i with a lens kit and filters for both lenses. I mainly got it for the trip to Canada im leaving for in the morning...but that was just kind of an excuse to get a real camera since the best i ever had was my cell phone lol. Anyone else into photography? I am completely new to this stuff.

I am as a hobby, and I work for my brother once in a while (brother and dad are both professional photographers)

it's a lot of fun, lots of reading and experimenting will get you pretty far. it's something that never really gets boring either as long as you're creative. I've been looking for a new hobby too, might get into it more.

yeah, most of my friends are into it. And with something as simple as manual focus, you can get the "artsy" look by blurring the background lol. Plus this is more camera than i'll ever need, so unlike my cars it is a one time buy with the exception of some lenses. It gets its real test next week when i take it on my trip!

Social Networks:

Read, Study, Experiment. Should probably check out http://photography-on-the.net/forum/ theres a lot of fun DIY guides to try on your own and also to just look at other peoples work.

Uncle Sam pays me pretty well to take photos.
