Above ground pool

Anyone know a good company that sells and installs pools?

Does anyone know the approx cost of an above ground pool (24x24)?

Well for one, where the heck are you?

And aside from pool prices, gotta look into your township regulations for what you need to go along with it. Example, in Pensauken we had to put up a 6' privacy fence, where in Maple Shade a 4' chain link was fine.

Then add in electricity, permitting, inspections ... blah blah...

i'd suggest the pool store i work at but we are in nnj (westwood pool co.) , so i doubt we'd go that far for an install.. but give them a call 201-664-2500 and talk with tim(manager), bob(owner) or jay(manager). you have to check with your town ordinances to see how far away from the property lines it needs to be, and if you need a fence (most towns you can use an a-frame ladder with a locking gate system instead of a fence..gate systems like that run about 500 bucks) we usually know all this info for the towns so you might need even need to do any research on this

also pool prices vary depending on the material they are made out of..steel, aluminum.. rolled walls or extruded

if your dead set on a certain size and its too big for your property, sometimes you can file for some sort of appeal (i forgot exactly what they call it) and the town will then decide whether or not its ok..

After looking at all of the regulations in my town we ended up getting one of those blow up pools. It is about 2" under the towns definition of a "pool" so we don't need to worry about all of the extra stuff. My kids are 5 and 3 so we really didn't need anything bigger.

Yes, it's surprising how much digging you have to do even if you think your yard is flat already. My parents dug for almost 2 weeks into the clay in their backyard when they first installed their pool (18' x 48" round).
