Good 'ol OJ
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/1...n_1979862.html
You have reached rock bottom and started digging.
Another fun OJ fact:
James Camaron was dubious about casting Arnold as (Kyle) Reese as he felt he would need someone even bigger to play the Terminator. The studio had suggested O. J. Simpson for the role of the Terminator, but Camaron did not feel that Simpson would be believable as a killer

It would be funny if someone bought it, they did some dna testing to it, and he was charged with the murders

He was found not guilty. He could literally go on national tv and announce he did it and nothing can happen to him

Max of 33 years for armed robbery and kidnapping, can be out after 9.
Not sure about Nevada, but I know many states are 10/20/life for just an armed robbery charge- that's not counting anything else.

i didnt know his max out was that high, i knew he was eligible for release somewhere under 10 years, which kinda sucks. i mean they took all that stuff because of the civil suit for a murder he was acquitted for. his heisman was earned, no way they shouldve took that from, especially when he was aquitted.
think about it...if he really didnt do it, they took everything from him after a tragic time in his life. his heisman was probably all he had left to grasp at his former life...not a judge or jury that would be impartial for him.
its a shame that innocent people get punished.

That's the way it is. The amount of people and businesses that "settle" in lawsuits they are not guilty in is staggering.
That does not mean you can go out and attempt to make things right on your own.

yeah im just saying...it doesnt make sense to be financially responsible for a crime that you were acquitted for, but i guess thats the way the cookie crumbles. i just think that when theyre valuing estates things like the Heisman trophy shouldnt be counted in the estate. i never liked that part of the whole story and understand why he did what he did. its a shame but its the only thing he had left really.

There were drops of OJ's blood at the scene.. doesnt get more concrete than that. With the evidence against him it's really hard to believe he didn't kill nicole brown and her boyfriend.
The dream team of lawyers he got saved his ass.
In a criminal trial you generally need evidence that proves beyond a reasonable doubt. In a civil trial you only need to prove that the crime was more likely than not of occurring.
He's lucky he only had to pay up and not spend the rest of his days in prison

The family could then sue him and he would get wacked with a bunch of other crimes. He's acquitted of murder but not necessarily anything else they can think of.
