2010 ss deer damage
about 2 weeks ago my wife was coming home from work on the parkway south, it was around exit 20 when a deer was just standing there. well she hit him or her, and of course i am in lower bank playing pool that night so i couldn't even get to her or pick the deer up. luckily the car was not damaged all that bad, it needs a headlight and a front cover repair. it is in the shop right now waiting on the headlight.

I was expecting a LOT worse! Seeing a deer at highway speeds will definitely make your butthole pucker! I regularly see a pack of 8-10 deer running passed my lawn/window, sleeping in the backyard, or waiting to cross the road. They're all over this area.

hed be lucky to find a factory one. even if you bought an aftermarket one, the only way to get the foglights is through GM and you have to provide vehicle registration that you actually own a ZL1 before they sell them to you

Good. They're upping their brand worth. Porsche and a few others do this as well. That exclusivity is built into the price tag, and they're protecting it for their customers.

Glad no one was hurt. That's crazy about the zl1 stuff.
http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=196947
I found this, I didn't read the other pages in the thread so don't bust my balls if the bumper is crap lol. Some company must offer an aftermarket fog light assembly for the zl1

my brother inlaw owns the shop where it is being fixed, he is a one man show. i pulled the cover off and luckily it wasn't to bad to get off. he is fixing the cover to help me save on my deductible, it looks good so far.
yes she is very lucky she wasn't hurt, and the car wasn't damaged any worse. it probably would have been if it was closer to the center of the grill. i can't believe the headlight is almost a grand. ill post pictures when it is done.
