Napa 4N1603 starter for LT1 4th gen
My loss, could be your gain. I had to replace a Napa starter with a AC Delco unit because the Kooks long tube headers on my 1995 Firebird LT1 created a “heat soaked’ starter. Napa replaced the unit with a never used replacement (their policy is no cash refunds). Napa describes the 4N1603 as a new, high performance “race starter”. It comes with a limited lifetime warranty. I paid $400 (not including installation) from a Kansas repair shop (robbery price, yes, but I was ~ 1,400 miles from home). The Napa online price is $275. Your price excluding shipping is $200. I estimate shipping to be $20.
