Thumbs down Wait Until you GET YOUR VEHICLE REGISTRATION APPLICATION!

Those POS in Trenton RAISED UP our Registration Renewal Application FEES FROM $39.95 to $71.50 (minus a $7.00 discount) because I'am over 65! Notice they didn't raise it up by $5.00 or $10.00, those MF banged it up over 75%!!!

When was the last time you read about these FEES GOING UP? EVERYTIME these S**T H**DS get the chance, they shove it up our AS and we have NOTHING TO SAY ABOUT IT.

fees have been at these amounts for the past 3 years...
So I'm not really sure what the surprise is.

For up until this year, I have PAID $39.50 for my 2002 Grand Prix and the same for my 1991 Formula. This is the FIRST year I have gotten a bill for the $64.50. When you get to the point of being on a fairly tight income, it's just the point of ALWAYS getting increases on issues from the Politicians who seem to think that to solve any shortages in programs that they take for granted, is to raise TAXES and in this state it seems like anything is far game. Plus it's NEVER just a couple of bucks, but the more they get, the more they squander.

This is just my . If you have more money to give them, good for you that you don't have to watch every dime without getting SURPRISES in the mail!

Meh, it kind of evened out for me. My truck used to be over $100 and my cars were $40. Now my truck is $76 and the car is $71. The real crime is motorcycle registration...$65!!! That is insane if you ask me.

Just renewed my 92 the other day, it was $46.50 and I paid online, no "fees", not sure what happened to you, unless it is because the car is in a different weight class.

What gets me is that I have a 69 C10 pickup and a 69 C10 Suburban and the pickup is a "truck", so it is like $75 or whatever, but the suburban is a "wagon" and when I renewed in December it was $44.50

might be # of doors or GVW

a big driver of the suv thing was 4 doors were treated differently by the government, kind of a loophole although right now i can't exactly remember what issue it got around, it might have been import tariffs on cars vs trucks. i want to say nissan was invovled but i forget now lol

5th gen is heavy, so you have to pay more.

I don't have any F bodies, but all 5 off mine qualify for the QQ registration, you only pay once and from there on NO registration fee, just have to renew it every 3 years. There are some limitations such as how many miles you are allowed to drive it, but since none go through inspection, they don't know how many miles you drive them.
