Saw a flier today at Island Dragway.. apparently one of your fliers musta worked cause here I am. Anyhow, I'm a 2nd gen camaro owner (79 in case you missed it from my name) and I work and race every weekend at Island Dragway, I am also the webmaster of their site (www.islanddragway.com). If anyones ever there on Friday or Sunday, I'll be workin, tooling around in my camaro, or hopefully soon test and tuning my dragster. Saturdays I run in super pro, look for the only 21 year old chick in a dragster

Anyhow, just came over to check out this site, I'm also an avid member over at nastyz28.com, which is a 2nd gen website, but the people are awesome regardless of whether your an owner or not. If anybody has any questions regarding Island Dragway... im the girl to ask

I was at Island yesterday, lost in 2nd round elims because I hooked so well at the line I bogged

I had the red 89 Formula running 13.5's

Well thats something new... someone complaining the starting line was TOO good

Sorry to say, I'm glad to hear it. Actually this past Sunday was the first one I missed all season, I showed up after the show cause I had to move into school (Rutgers) and then go back there to pick up some more stuff, thats when I saw the flier.

This coming Sunday will "hopefully" be the big debut of my new dragster, been almost 5 years in the making and its soooo close that every weekend we keep saying this weekend. But as soon as I place an order with S&W for a few things, I think we'll be golden. I'll know better at the end of the week. I'm on cook campus.. actually i was looking for some stuff around here, I just transferred from William Paterson and i know Wayne and surrounding towns up there pretty well.. I'm completely lost down here. Any pool halls around?

pool halls you say. thats my kind of fun besides cars. I work at a pool hall and if you find one let me know ill come down and shoot a couple racks with ya. Hope your good cause i'm not to shabby.

the dragster looks good. coming along nicely.

and i can shoot a rack, too. i used to own my own stick, then that movie came out with tom cruise and everyone had their own cue and the whole scene deteriorated from there.

Its in secaucus right off of route 3 5 misn from the lincoln tunnel and 5 mins from the turnpike. the price to play pool isnt to bad for the area. i know since i work at a poolhall. and it is probably the nicest onea round. good tables best equiptment good food and other games to boot. how can ya beat that? let me know i could probably work something out with the place if we get enough tables. and people to go.

Just ordered a new cam for it too...
I have a superram intake ready to bolt on once the cam is swapped out.
I figure I should knock off another 4 to 5 tenths if I get the chip tuned right...

yes sir, that would be me. And yeah, its all f-bodys.. just doesnt sound right in the title.. F-bodys vs. Mustang? nah... so yeah.. we're not picky. I actually set that event up originally for f-bodys and to try to get some of my 2nd gen friends to come up. Invited mustangs cause i know theyre always willing to show.
