Tuner Transformation Rant of the Week.

As you all know, the Tuner show on Speed TV is one of thoes shows I love to hate. Today, they actualy did something with more then 4 cyls. They took this guys...who will be broken down in a min...00 Mustang GT in for the usual shocks, springs, and decals.
First, the Owner.
He seems to be your average male who knows NOTHING about the car except that its loud. He even said that the exhaust was too loud for him, and he was thinking taking the cat back off. First note to me that this guy should have been better off with a Civic.
Ok, now the 3 douchebags...
Jonny JJ or whatever his name is says, and I quote, "..The Mustang is, pound for pound, the best sports car in the world." Yes, you heard(read) me right. So out of all the different cars out there, this Mustang, in which a stock SRT4 could put a lenght on it, is one of the best sports cars out there....well, thats what sparked this whole thread.
They acutaly didnt throw on any supid decals, but they did your standad Mustang mods: new exhaust, wheels, shocks, and of course...supercharger.
After its all said and done, they show the car to the guy. They open the hood, and the guy says.."Im no mechanic, but it looks like there is some stuff in there" or something to that effect... WOW!! Yeah..that GIANT A/C polished AC compressor. Im sure that its the first time hes looked under that hood.

Which leads me to this thought. All people, when buying a performance car, should take a simple test to figure out if you are right for this car. If you think cat backs will make your head hurt, and you cant tell the difference between a supercharger from an AC compressor, you need to move on down to an econobox model, and save you time from looking like a fool.

PS, the show after it is Nopi TV at Atco. Thought that it was pretty cool.

the ONLY reason i ever watched dopey-vision was to see dalene in action. yeah, your normal, everyday ditzy blonde with... DDs... ahem.

i have not, and will not, watch tuner transformation until they learn what they are doing and stop messing around with those 4banger jap cars. i even stopped watching CCR because of the poor quality of the show. i probably would like it if they would stop jumping from one car to the next - and actually make some progress on one of the cars they are working on...

Yea, I saw TT and Nopi at Kare's last night after class. The 'stang owner was a real idiot, and didn't deserve what actually turned out to be a pretty nice looking mustang (vortech blower, roush bodykit, sways, lcas, springs, shocks, 18" rims)

Watched a bit of nopi @ atco, got bored quick though...
