Yeah... Good thing you weren't going around a sharp corner with bald tires with a guard rail nearby.

so what you are saying is that you were doing something that was clearly illegal adn teh cop is supposed to be the dick? and how many tickets did you already have that it only took 2 points to lose your license?
sorry if that seems harsh, but it sounds damn silly to blame cops for doing therre job. slowing down to 91 in a 65 is dumb enough, but blaming the cop for it makes you sound like an idiot.

yeah, that was a mistake on YOUR part, not the cop's. i'm not being hypocritical, we all speed, but 91 is just a tad high.
cops DO NOT have to accept PBA cards. they aren't a "get-out-of-jail free" card, the cops let you off with them because they respect whoever you know. and I know for a fact that if you were on 287, the penalties for speeding are DOUBLED. so those 4 points would have been 8 points. you got off easy with 2. don't complain.

Anything 90 or over, and you will get a 30 day suspension.
If you were doing 89, you would have just gotten the ticket... that's usually how it is for most municipalities in NJ.
90 is the magic #.

wrong, my brother got nailed doing 91 in a 50 on Rt. 23...he had it knocked down to a 2-pt. careless driving offense. all he had to do was take a defensive driving course.

if i'm not mistaken, points acquired in other states are sent to the offender's home state motor vehicle dept. and are applied to your record.

Not if you pay it right away before any of the mail goes out . They then don't bother reporting it, I found this out the hard way. Although there was another ticket I got in Ohio that I sat on but didn't get any points. I wonder what happened there.
PA sucks, it's a long ass drive through the state and their tickets/points transfer to NJ, same with NY.

did the cop take the pba card, or give it back? If they dont accept it, they're usually supposed to give it back...i think. Even though my dad is a cop, i dont have a pba card. I get off with my charm and good looks

I've gotten a few out of staters.
They don't seem to affect my DMV record, buuut, they DO affect my insurance!
When I had my accident last year, they droped my because they said it was my fault, and combined with two old speeding tickets from out of state, was enough to legaly dump me.
Now these tickets were from several years ago, but it took them so long to report them to NJ that they were still counted even though they occured before the time limit.
