Other hobbies

I have so many interests that I pick up and put down from time to time and I'm wondering what everyone else likes to do with their free time. Cars are an obvious thing here but what else do you like to do? Here's some of mine.

Woodworking, especially with old hand tools, and collecting antique tools.

BMX freestyle, I lived on my bike in the 80's and can still do some of my favorite tricks. Did alot of mountain biking for a while and now I'm finding myself collecting BMX and freestyle bikes from the '80's. Yes, I do feel a bit dorky riding around the neighborhood on a 'little kid's bike' but it's nostalgic and brings me back to some simpler days and times. Enjoy your younger years all you youngins.

Building plastic car models, haven't done this since my son was born 3 years ago but I really enjoy doing it. I would put more effort into the details each one I did.

I still somehow find time to read as much as I can and work in some occasional video games.

One of these days, and it could be soon, I'm going to build a model railroad. O or HO gauge, I haven't decided but my son likes trains in a big way so it could work out to be a nice bad weather indoor father/son type thing.

There are other hobbies besides working on cars??

Actually I do a lot of other things. I workout 6 days a week. I play rugby for a men's club in Princeton. I play guitar once in a while. I like building just about anything around the house. I watch the stock market like it's my job (it used to be). Probably quite a few things I'm leaving out, but those are the biggies.

"What is...Febturday?"
"No"
"HAHA! SHE SAID TURD!"
"Mr. Connery, I HATE you."

Besides cars, I love music (pretty much anything but the horrible rap that the ricers listen to so nobody thinks that they're posers ) I have about 60 hours or LOGGED music on my desktop, and probably another 70 that isnt logged. I like drawing...either that or I hate paying atention in class, because thats usually what I end up doing. Occasionally I write, and when I do, im told its halfway decent. (by the way, if anyone is interested, I wrote a 4 page essay on "How to pack and smoke a hooka" for english. got an A on it, and its pretty in depth, if anyone cares to read it, pm me. il try and send it to you, if this god damn computer lets me) Oh, and smoking my hooka, although I'm out of coals. Gotta call my supplier.

well i love working on my cars and helping here and there with others, im obviously online alot and occasionally play flash games online, im now starting to really dig this whole tuning thing though...i used to play alot of sports when i was younger like football, baseball, tennis, bowling, racketball, volleyball blah blah blah some i was good at some i sucked but realized i wasnt good enough in any of them to make a career out of it and one by one i ended up leaving for one reason or the other...the last one being bowling because i hurt my back at a previous job and the whole motion of bowling was irritating it and there were days where i could barely stand. I still love watching pro sports on tv for the most part especially football, but i occasionally will watch a full game of basketball and sometimes if the game is good enough, baseball. For the most part im a homebody playing with my 2 year old daughter and just making sure my bills get paid and everyone has a roof over their head and a car to drive to work in.

Cool, another BMXer. Woody was my favorite(he helped me with some info about my bike, it's an oddball) and Mike Dominguez in the air. Kid at heart is right. I still have my Trick Star and restored it a couple of years ago. It was too nice to ride at that point so I found another one to ride.

The cool thing about having a young son is the wife doesn't give me weird looks for playing with Hot Wheels anymore.

I do wish I had more time to build some cars. It's all I did in the past. I was like you NJspeeder, always helping all my friends with their's. I'm taking it easy for a little while until my son is big enough to hang out in the garage without getting hurt. He's a handful right now and wants to get into everything. When I do take him out in the garage, he doesn't want to leave. It cracks me up.

Besides rockin the Camaro...

I enjoy tennis, playing guitar, writing some of my own songs and music... I like to sing, some say I'm not that bad. My friend runs a karaoke company so I follow him and his crew all over the state to help them out, sing a song or two, and buy a few drinks... for all you north Jersey folk, check them out: http://www.eviljohninc.com There's something going on most nights of the week.

I play the stock market a little... I play pool and poker a little... (If any of you are up for a card night, I have my own chips).

Hobbies other than working on the car, working on the truck, working on the boat? Oh yeah, golf and fishing are considered hobbies. And speaking of poker, we have a game going on tonight. Got a fresh keg on tap at the bar in the living room and poker! Who needs to go out!

Hrmmm...hobbies. Well being that I just have enough time to do the basics, not to mention working on cars, I enjoy my job for the most part.

I am a big fan of sleeping. I try and do it as much as possible.
I also like long walks on the beach, short walks on the beach.....

I also like to just drive around for no reason, and with no real destination. Very soothing, but hasnt been as nice since the Z was down.

I wish my car was more of a hobby then it is, but as far as other hobbies, right now I'm working on planning my 4 weeks of vacation for next year and 2 of them are saved for my favorite hobby of snowboarding, one to vermont, and the other one to colorado! I'm excited. But other then that, the last 6 months I've really been into staying up to date in the NYC house music scene, its extremely addicting. Because of that, I consider the fact that I love to go out to clubs, have a couple of drinks and dance like crazy my hobby! I'm not like most people that go to clubs to meet the opposite sex, I'd rather dance and have fun with friends, I literally live everday by my favorite quote "Life may not be the party we hoped for, but while we are here, we might as well dance" (Why do I feel like I was just writing for a dating personals ad?)
