I had an accident last night

I was cruising around one of the local towns with some friends in the Z28, we were moving along a dark wooded road, I had my hi-beams and fog's on. And a couple of deer ran out into the street. I slammed the breaks, lost controll, and hit a cobble stone wall on the side of the road.

Im fine but just really really pissed off.

I wish I could say the same for the camaro The front clip is split in half, with the most dammage on the passenger side. Theirs a small amount of frame damage, mainly just a body support that holds the headlights up, is bent a little. And the passenger side front fender is all scratched up, and cracked up at the front. And I scored the front passenger wheel pretty good on the lip. The hood and rest of the car is fine. I just got back from dropping it off from my neighboors body shop, so I'll know the real damage ($$$) by the end of the day.

- My parents are super pissed, because I was driving where I was, and its not the best time of the year for driving around. So the money for the work is comming straight out of my pocket.

Aw man, I'm very sorry to hear about it Alex! At least you guys are OK and it sounds like the car can be fixed easily enough.

Look on the bright side, now you have an excuse to get rid of the billet grill.

That sucks about the car.
Is it me or are people going through F-bodies faster than underwear? How many people have wrecked or gotten into a rather serious accident with their f-bodies? I can think of 5 off the top of my heads

Its getting NOS panels, and possibly a SS hood. And most likely will be done by Friday. The estimate came out to something like 1,100. Painting being the most expensive part.

I took it to my neighboors place, so he can't to a shotty job, because he knows I bring in buisness. It would be an example basically.

When it comes back, Im going to be de-badged it, and remove the bullet grill, and re-paint the insert a glossy black with red-bowtie.

that sucks man. too bad in dont have any 4th gen camaro parts to give you other than stock directionals.

i hit a deer with my SS when it had only 500 miles and was 4 days old... that bastard put a 1" crack in my drivers fender and pushed my headlight back so the inner reflector cracked on mounting bolt behind the light... 1,100 to fix... and the cops wouldnt go find that dahm deer and shoot it no matter how much i complained, lol

and later that night, 1 block over, a deer rear ended my friends 84 vette as he was leaving his house. Haha

Yeah Bill... me included. LOL

You know speaking of deer hunting...
I don't know if any of you are animal rights activists or whatnot so don't take this the wrong way if you are,

But for those that are, and thought the bear hunts were dumb ideas, I wonder what they'd think of a deer hunt to control the deer population. And if any of the animal activists think the deer hunt (for controlling purposes only) is a bad idea, then I hope they hit a deer. (well not really, just trying to make a point).

Trying to keep this a little PC.... considering it is a pretty delicate subject.

Many counties have a deer population control team, and the state will extend deer season a few months to help control the population.
You cant drive on 195 without seeing a handfull of dead deer on the side. I would never harm another animal, but I dont want my car crushed. I am a gun advocate, but shooting animals for sport isnt my bag.
