89 Trans Am WS6.... i think i saw your old trans am...
On monday, i was working in Closter, doing a property on knickerbocker road. I looked up to see a 3rd gen black trans am rolling to the stop at the light. The car looked very familiar but i couldnt place it at first. then i thought of your sig pic and i 'm pretty sure that was it. It was a clean black ttop t/a, with clear front marker lights and red trans am decals on the fenders and rear bumper, i never saw a stock red sticker so i assume it was aftermarket, in your sig i cant tell, did you have red decals?, i couldnt see the front windsheild...but anyway, it looked like two kids in the car...the odd thing that mainly cought my eye at frist about the car was that they had the ttops off...which probably means one of two things, 1, they really wanted some fresh air in the cold afternoon, or 2, the kid just got the car and ttops were a new concept to him. I remember reading your post about him not fully paying for it, and i was wondering if that ever got resolved, cuz apparently there are no "electrical problems" with it now. i dunno...i just wanted to bring it up...i forgot to post it last night.

he knows. i told him a few weeks ago that his car was at bergen, so either there arent electical problems, or the kid pushed it all the way to the top of the parking garage  . 89WS6TransAm, what ever became of the money?
That kid is a dumb ass, tho. I talked to him.

"Uh, no, its a 5 liter, with fuel injection."

its just a TBI 305, and It does have red-decals on it.
I see him lurking here from time to time, but I havent had a chance to even talk to him myself.

well, now i know its a TBI. but i was just reading 5 liter FI on the car (which is what he had to look at after i asked him to remember what to say)

maybe i'll ask him to run for pink slips....lol i'll give him a choice of which car i'll use... if he doenst know much about cars, i'll tell him to pick either my 88 firebird "6 cyl" t/a clone (5.7L TPI GTA), my 87 monte ls "SS clone"(5.7L TPI 5spd), or my 01 "6cyl" SS "Clone"  hey, maybe he'll believe me and then i can have another toy...ok so maybe he's not that gulible....but itll be funny

tell him you'll race him on a moped...then work on replacing the moped motor with the ls1
