2006 Monte
http://www.chevrolet.com/montecarlo06/
I read something that this car was coming a few months ago. On the website it says it comes with a small block V8 that puts out 303 hp.
What do you guys think?
In my opinion its not a bad thing. If it runs on regular gas and if the pricetag is resonible why not. The monte has a pretty good look to it.

Aye, the Monte will be nice with 303 hp. The LS4 will also have Displacement on Demand, where the computer shuts down half of the engine for improved fuel economy.
Its nice, but I still hate the fact that its FWD. If it was RWD, Id probably own one. The interior looks much improved.

Yea, I see what you mean about them just changing the nose Al.....doesn't look too bad. But the Impala? What were they thinking with those Accord tail lights?

Well, Accords sell well so why not, I want GM/domestic nameplates in general to sell well/better also so I'm all for whatever it takes.
Looks like GM is REALLY on the ball. 8)

The Impala is ment to be a clean design. I never liked the present Impala. LARGE body gaps, poor fit and finish on interior materials, and overall lack of everything else.
The new Impala takes a step back in design perhaps to appeal to more common tastes, but will offer a great car for the buck. Especialy that SS model! I hope they price it right.
Personaly...I am, as well as many people in and outside of GM, are waiting for the Saturn Aura to make production, which Bob Lutz himself says is pretty much production read. And with Spring Hill getting a few million dollars in injections to update...Saturn might actualy be a car you want to own.

I feel that way now, if I were in the market for a car in that class/range I would DEFINITELY consider a Saturn, that Aura does look GOOD too. 8)
