gotta know what motor is in it

305 tpi
305 tbi
350 tpi.......
also, what transmission and what ratio rear end....posi or non.

mike

cuz a 305 tbi that might run between 16.5 and 17.3 in the quarter differs alot from the 350 tpi A/T (as they came with) witha posi that runs a 14.9 or so in the quarter
ya know?

86 didn't have a 305 tbi as an option.

it doesnt mean the car has the original motor in it guys.

but since you have a 6 cyl, your looking at abour 140 hp at best, and a 17.3 second quarter with about a 10 second or so zero to sixty time.

Displacement: 173ci (2.8L)
Horsepower: 135 @ 5100
Torque: 160 @ 3900
Compression: 8.9:1

the 191ci 3.1liter makes 140 HP @ 4400, but wasnt put in F-Bodies until 1990
