Well I'm thinking my raceweight will be something like 3150 (down from 3230). All of that is out of the nose, BTW. I also straightened out some tuning issues which will make this my very first 13 second day. Since James accomplished......nothing over the winter, I'm thinking I'll come out on top this time.
Sorry Jim-Bo, you're going down.

It will be close, but if James hasn't touched his combo like he says, then I'm sticking with Craig. He has at least one serious issue worked out in the tune, plus the normal tweaking.

Waiting on parts for the headers to come in, then the headers, y-pipe and Magnaflow are all going on together. Why waste time trying to fix the stock exhaust system?

because he has no clue what a/f hes running...for all we know he could be running 14:1 a/f or 9:1...all he needed to do was get a bung welded in an to get his leaks fixed up...cost would probably be less then $40...and i would let him borrow my w/b and we could tune him to where he needs to be...he could gain a couple of tenths by just getting that strait...comon i gained almost 6mph from just getting the fueling worked out your saying that $40 isnt worth even the slight possiblity of gaining even a part of that? Id be willing to say he'd make more hp tuned with the exhaust he has on there now then adding your $300 or whatever header system and the same tune hes got in there now.

I'll be rootin for me to be faster then both of them...but if i had to choose a winner i would choose craig for best et/mph but james if its heads up including the tree...i think james will tree him by 2-3 tenths lol...which leads me into my question...you guys including the tree or just et bragging rights?

i agree with bill. the time slip will be all about craigs car. but when you factor in reaction time, well, james is a very good on the tree.
i am picking craig for the et because he already had a top end charge on james with a better trap speed and similar short times. with the latest mods both are expected to improve, which will leave james looking for et without any winter work accomplished.
