WOO HOO!!! Been a good week

FINALLY got my damn Trans Am running again....well actually Mike from Rapid Motorsports helped me out ALOT. Make along story short the fact that the LS1 runs at 58 PSI fuel pressure was*ahem* overlooked....by your's truly, and since I used standard injectors on it she was runnin' rich. Gonna change out the plugs again today and it should be ready to rock and roll. Can't wait to see what it is making power wise now. It did 398 RWH and 400 RWTQ running pig rich (10.2:1) so I am hoping for another 10 ponies and maybe 5-6 RWTQ. Then I just need to finish hooking up the nitrous and it's off to the 10's (hopefully).....or a new block, whichever happens first. Either way I should be able to knock at least .3-.5 off my 11.7 cam only run. And on the other side of the street the Formula is also ready for road duty so hopefully I can get it registered this week and the weather holds out (NO SNOW!!!).

Congrats Nick, and good luck shooting for those 10's!! I just hope you have better luck than Erik did all those times he was aiming for a 10 second slip

and if the little 346 doesnt handle the nitrous that well, there's always the new 402 LS2 that Mikey is putting together....talk about some serious power!!

Cause Erik shifts like an old lady Â* . Honestly I'd be happy just re-claiming my pride from my friends Mustang (damn him and his supercharger!), but I think high 10's will be do-able. I don't know if I can afford Mikey's new engine, even if it is pounding out 550+ RWH, I think I will just get a forged 346. Hopefully it'll hold for awhile....while I am wishing I'd like a pony......
