Dyno Day @ TTP

just letting you guys know that TTP is having another dyno day. Basically its $40 for 4 dyno pulls and then they serve refreshments. Any FWD or RWD cars can attend. I'll be there to get a baseline dyno run before i start modding. If anyone needs anymore info let me know.

Jacob

It's still on for this Saturday, right? If the weather is good I'm gonna bring my 305 TPI-powered Monte SS for some numbers as well.

It's nice to have, but not necessary....they will be able to pick up engine RPM without physically having a guage.

I hope you/Tony will be able to get the car to the dyno. Not to make fun of the 600hp claim, just because it's always nice to see what a combo built by one of our members will put down.

Is this event still on for tomorrow? I called the shop today around 3, and didn't get an answer. With the blizzard warning issued, I'm hoping they'll postpone it for another weekend. I really don't want to miss out on the great price, but I can't afford to have my car in an accident either.

I didn't go. I left a message yesterday, and they never called me back. And I wasn't about to drive over there in the snow and find out it was cancelled.

Oh well, maybe next time.

it was still on. i went down, and right when i got there, it started snowing. i went in and they said i was next up. the car before me blew his radiator or something so it took about half hour to clean it up and remove the other car. by then there was an inch or two on the ground so i just went home. i got a raincheck for friday though. the ride home sucked. took me almost 2 hours for whats usually like a 20 min ride. i got stuck by maccoroni grill on 17. eventally got myself out though. long day nonetheless. i like the guys over at ttp though. they're real nice. i'm most probably gonna keep my business there. i brought them two other non-fbody customers as well.

ahh the iroc is a beast that thing laid down like 271 hp and like 351 trq and then the radiator or something blew up.. smoke and coolant was eveywhere.. then i checked the oil and it was over 2qts low im sure if he gives that thing a tune up it will see 600 on the dyno

the thing wasnt in the best of shape, but it had an awesome motor in it. definately capable of more power. i thought you guys concluded it was a blown head gasket though?

Well, that would def. cause a lack of power. Hopefully the owner will fix it and get another run on the dyno to see what the motor is really capable of.
