SEMA Autosalon

welcome to my own personal fart cannon hell!!!!!!

pamperedz and i went down to teh SEMA autosalon at teh AC convention center. if you are in need of phat rims, kitten launcher exhaust tips, or a new set of subs that was the place to be. if you want anything to do with performance or domestics you are out of luck.

we did manage to talk to a few companies about potentially supporting teh east coast nats. got to see our friend charity from hawk performance brake pads again too. hawk are definately supporting the event, just waiting for their stuff to get here and we will announce it all.

got to see some hot woman there too. still don't understand why so many guys pay for a poster of a chick standing in front of them. just buy a disposable camera, it is about half teh cost of 1 poster and you can get 24ish pics with it. then again, they are ricers and i guess we can only expect so much from them. lol

overall i hope the domestic market keeps growing back into it's rightful place atop the performance community. it woudl be nice to have teh fart pipes drown out by chevy and pontiac V8's

later

I'm kinda glad it was a rice-fest...makes me not feel so bad about sleeping in and missing the show.

Silicone, Spandex and Tuner cars ( two out of three aint bad! ).

One cool toy I liked was the 5" tack shift light that was programmable and also had built in oil+ fuel pressure and water temp. Nice unit if your limited on space.

Sadly I've seem better "show" cars at any of the local cruise nights then at this big event. I'm not into the imports, but I can still appreciate a car that is well thought out. And 90% of these weren't! Never seen one of those at our gatherings.

Tim, you forgot to mention the guy in the sweat suit! Never seen one of those at our gatherings. Guess we just don't know to being the bling?
