He needs to put that in his sig so we know, or at least mention it so we don't have to do research just to see what car he is talking about.

Well, you didn't mention your budget, but probably the best bang for the buck upgrade is exhaust or gears.
Check what gears you have, I'll assume 2:73 or 3:23. If so , you can pick up a used rear with 3:42 gears for cheap $300-$500 that will help your excelleration and pick up about .3 without impacting gas milage or driving manners. Allot of people say to go with 3:73s or 4:10 but if you don't have all the supporting mods and you really want to stay a daily driver 3:42 are a good in-between gear set. And you'll need reprogramming as well.

Headers will give you a good gain as well, but will cost allot more.

We just did a LT4 springs and 1.6 rocker arms install (no cam) and there was a slight gain as well. I think the new springs were more of a help in the upper RPMs then the rockets may have been?

Are you an auto? Or a 6-speed? If you are an auto, I would stick with the stock gears, and just go for a torque converter and a shift kit. If you are a 6-speed, I would put in gears. Even with 4.10's in a 6-speed, 6th gear at highway speeds won't be much in the RPM band. It might even improve mileage.
The basics to help mileage and increase power though will be the exhaust, and a CAI, along with a tune.

Shift kit will help, but the torque converter will make the biggest difference.

Depending on how big of a stall you get, it can make a substantial difference. It also might make DD a pain if you go with a big stall, but you will be a monster off the line at the track or in a race.
