Unhappy Replacement V8 Steering Pump for 94

I have had AutoZone ship 2 different steering pumps but none have the same mounting holes (diameter is smaller on replacement unit). The part number on the side of the pump matchs but so far I cannot find a pump with the same diameter holes to slide the mounting bolts into the bracket. Has anyone had this problem? Will I find the pump with the correct diameter holes?

Yes drilling holes in something that holds fluids

I would take the pump to the hardware store and try to figure out what is the proper size bolts. Or get a new pump from GM instead of the auto part store

Red face

It turns out that a 10mm or 3/8 bolt fits the pump pulled out of my car. NAPA called the warehouse and requested that they measure the opening. A call came back with the bolt hole measurement. I will find out over the weekend when the replacement pump arrives.

Thanks
