thats nothing new, all the plants do it, thats what happens when you have a strong union, you get away with murder.

When the GM plant was open in linden those guys would come to lunch and never go back to work, they would take turns with one guy staying back to punch the other guys in and out as needed, supervisors would be in on it too.

what about all the factory workers that are getting paid 8 hours to watch tv, because the union is so strong that they said that if you cant place the workers that are to young to retire or get a buyout, then you have to pay them until they can. If you ever drive by the backside of where the GM plant used to be you'll see 3 trailers full of people getting paid to sit and BS for 8 hours.

No one really wants to bail out the unions...they want to bail out the automakers.
UAW is down center stage as congress starts to tear into the UAW's contracts and finds a quick way to level the playing field.

i hate unions so much.... those guys are just lazy.... scary that people like that are building cars that might be transporting children or babies and they are getting wasted half the day... and going back to work... disgusting.... as stated above too.. im sure its not just ford either.....i wonder of they guy who built the opti's was getting drunk everyday???
