Had it last week. Fully concious and no pain killers.
You can see all three needles that go into my spine. You can also see my first spinal fusion.

The pain was horrific..... but the pictures are really cool.

The thing that may look like a cell phonoe is the metal plate on my C6 to C7 spinal fusion. It is held in with 4 screws.
Good news.... I'm much closer to having surgery... and soon to be out of pain.

And, I feel pretty lousy now. The day of the procedure and the next day I felt really bad - like the incredible hulk punched me in the neck. Friday till now, feel crappy and lots of pain. Sigh

Car accidents. Search for posts by him and you'll see all the details. Unfortunately, per our lawyer, we shouldn't really be saying what caused what injury.

Dam, I've had lots of back pain for the past 20 years but it's really just muscle soreness and not nerve or bone related.
