depends on what is included. 98 is not the most desirable of years.

I know what rebuilt used to entail. But what do you mean rebuilt. As in a reman from jasper or some place like that ? Or what ?

if its just the LS1 with harness and ECM, being 98 isn't as desireiable but can always be converter to 99 easily id say at least 3500 if a desireable LS is going for around 5000

Its a stock rebuild from jasper I don't have paper work but I have the serial number still on the motor and it would probably include the harness and ecm

you'd be over paying unless there is a trans attached to it. esp a 98 & 98 electronics 1500-2000 tops. 2500 you'd need to find/hold out for the right buyer.

scotts right. the prices on these has fallen a ton. hell ive seen them go under 1000 for just the motor. the harness and such isnt worth much either cause its 98 and not a lot of people like to mess with 98. bbk intakes dont add value much either because ls6's outperform them and are easily available for around 300 bucks. imo 1500 bucks is a reasonable area.

I think those guys listed high prices because they thought a car was attached.
