I've always contemplated a th350 swap, but then the car really becomes just a track car since there wouldn't be any overdrive and I really couldn't justify having just a low 11 second car that I could barely drive around on the street without having to scream the rpms. It drives well enough now to get me from point A to B and that's good enough for now until I get $$$.
Manual trans rebuild with the pals during my spring break? lol

We know nothing about manual transmissions. we just take the stock trans and put Transgo shift kits in them shimmed for race car, then run 10s. 4l60e = lock up.
Plus you have 4.10 gears right? That means you would need a 28" tire to go auto, which might make you slower than your current paddle boat times.

I have the complete t-56 service manual and there are a few guides floating around online. I'll make a thread in the bounce house to kick around a few ideas without getting killed by the nazzis  .
Anyway, I'm going to pick up the car from the tint shop in a few and then it'll be good to go for Pizza tonight.

I had a stomach bug from Monday-Tuesday Night and lost close to 5lbs. Couldn't sleep and still not feeling all that well.
