yes, i of all people actually, do not approve of parting out cars if you havent really done it enough before. You need to knwo the market, demand and such. Plus NEVER buy a car with first intentions to resell it, especially an fbody that was in an accident. Youll spend more fixing it than youll even be able to sell it for. cuz it doesnt ever happen like that. You must always keep in mind what its worth in parts. and if you cant figure it out by yourself looking at it within 2 min, dont buy it. ive parted out cars for over 6 years, when i started, i didnt make much for the first year or 2, but ive learned since, and Luckily i ahve the room and storage for parts as of right now

2 good friends of mine were in a really bad accident 2 days ago because of one.

they were going down the road and spotted a deer getting ready to make a break for the road.

well, my friend that was driving was worried so much about the deer, he didn't see the stop sign coming up and went through it. he was t-boned by a pick-up doing about 35.

he suffered a broken leg and his girl (my girl's best friend) had to get 19 stitches.


now, i know the accident was his fault, but who else lives in an area where you have to be more worried about the ****in deer than the other drivers on the road?

I was talking to a cop not that long ago, he said that if they get a call about a deer hit and its laying on the side of the road still alive, they usually go out make sure the driver is ok, then get the driver on the way so they are alone, then they put a bullet in the animals head. cruel, but what do you want then to do? there is no vet for wild animals in most areas. And he was telling me how he had to put 6 bullets in a deers head once to finally kill it.

ok, now that valentines day is over, new topic. Tonight me and my girlfriend were in the mood for dunkin donuts. So we head over there and order 3 donuts and it comes to like almost 3 bucks. for 3 dahm donuts, i remember when they were 59 cents each, now they are 94 cents each. did the cost of making donuts actually go up enough to rationalize the price increase? granted it was like 5 years ago when they were 59 cents but still. I remember driving to DD and buying a dozen donuts for 3.99 and now a dozen are 6.99 WTF, stuff like that pisses me off. And as we were sitting in the tahoe, i was looking at the car wash across the street, now its 3.77+tax($4 total) for a drive through wash. Even there i used to take my caddy STS through for 2.82 plus tax($3 total). and obviously we all know the price of gas went up a crazy amount, but thinking of those changes it made me think back how i used to be able to get regular gas for my GTA for like 95 cents a gallon. OK now for the older members, i bet they can remember 50 cents a gallon and all like my GF's mom, but i still consider myself young(25) and i look at this as insane... i want the late 90's back, lol.


oh and on a completely random side note, Summit Racing changed their LT1/LS1 section back to TPI/LT1/LS1.. i think a while back someone mentioned they dropped the tpi parts but apparently it was just that one issue. and now they got the edelbrock and the DART LS1 heads listed.

Not melted sugar, real ****ing sugar at the bottom so its crunchy. Is that so hard to ask for? YES! as a matter of fact it is. Cause every time i say "Medium Iced French Vanilla, Sweet with 2 creams, don't melt the sugar." I'd say I get 1 out of every 3 cups right. wtf is this all about?? Its not that ****ing difficult. I used to just take it and deal with it, now I send it back and have them make it again... watching to be sure there's no extraneous **** that goes in it.

i know i was out of high school cause i was living in lodi, which was while i was at willy p. since i graduated in 2001, it was definitely after then. I remember exactly what gas station i went to, and its one of those stations thats usually about .02 cheaper than everywhere else.

I just got a message from ebay that one of my store inventory items sold. a monte carlo ss fender. I was glad to see it sold until i checked where the buyer lived..in CA. I have it clearly stated in the sale ad that theres is "no shipping due to the size" Yet the buyer emails me asking for the total including shipping. I emailed him a second time telling him NO shipping. it is stated by me in the ad, plus 2 other times by ebay on the ad page that it is for local pickup only. I dont get people, can't they read? i guess not. and it was a new user, just registered with ebay yesterday. i hate those types of ebay users...they dont know how ebay works. MORONS, now i gotta file and unpaid item dispute to get my seller fees back. UGH

Heh, stupid people on Ebay bother me. I recently purchased a magazine article comparing the '67 bird to the '82 bird, and I've been trying to pay for it, but the seller's paypal account isn't accepting payments at the moment, even though he has it listed as a valid form of payment. I sent him an e-mail on thursday asking him what the issue was, and as of a little bit ago he hadn't responded to my e-mail or gotten things straightened out with paypal. I don't feel like going out to get a money order for $6.25 and mailing it to someone who can't fix their paypal account or respond to an e-mail regarding them getting their money. UGH....
