I'd like to see the 69 Z28 restoration get finished but I'm not doing the work on that car. I need to address the clutch, brakes, tires and check the rear on the 70 SS396. I'm trying to find some more of the original parts for the 70 but I'm not gonna pay crazy Ebay and Barrett Jackson prices.

Nahhh, he wants to buy a non-running f-body so then he'll be a true club member!

you're all wrong. If I bought a non running F-body, then that would make me an admin. and depending on which car I buy next, it's either getting a lot of work done to it, or it's gonna get cleaned up and sold

Fall: Get new compressor in the garage.
Winter: Strip undercoating off bottom of 77, get the damn car back together.

Put in a line lock, 1.85 rockers and torque converter and shoot for a 11 second run with stock exhaust manifolds and no cam.

Hmmmm, I might have just created a new project today. The 396 didn't seem to like the lack of traction today when it suddenly revved up to 6000 rpm's! I now have a slight miss which might be a lost valve. The car currently has a set of oval port heads on it which are not correct, but I have the correct rectangular port heads to go on the car. They are bare so I'll need to get them put together. I need to check some stuff tomorrow to see what's going on. Dam lack of traction!

Oh man... that job sucks. Brakeleen and a heat gun worked best for me, but it was still a messy job.

OK, the car is back in the garage (with its new epoxy floor coating), so that is progress.
As soon as I get the 2 yards of mulch out of my truck, I'll get my copmpressor.
