Im not a big coffee drinker if at all, but DD's is no better then a regular cup of Starbucks price wise.
It's all relative......I drink DD every day. The one down the street from me is perfect every time, I've never had a bad cup, but other DD's in the area are hit or miss. The local Starbucks is perfect every time. They have different roasts and they're quality control is awesome. They have different roasts and flavors and they are consistant.
Everyone likes what they like weather it's coffee, beer, cigars, liquor, cigarettes, or beer. Why does one person like Coors rather than Heineken? Winstons rather than Marlboros? It's personal preference.

Well i agree with some of you with the prices of gas, milk and food all goin up I can't see goin to Starbucks a viable option. Unfortunately for me I lived with a girl for 7 years that worked for Starbucks and totally corrupted my taste in coffees. I get a pound of Starbucks French Roast coffee beans when I go to BJ's for about 15 bucks and that gets me through about a month. That coffee kicks ass!!! Everything else tastes like water to me now.
