idle issue?

ok i notice this yesterday and it did it again to me today. i was driving my 98 z and i came to a stop and it usually idles at 1000rpm but yesterday and today it would drive fine and i would come to a stop and it would be idleing at 1500 after i shut the car off for a bit i come back to it and shes fine. any ideas?

both times its done it its been at op. temperature. maybe idle air control sensor getting stuck?

could be some crap built up in there. could be a number of other things though. best bet is to get a diagnostic tree and go step by step rather than guessing and chucking parts at it. i was thinking TPS but thats just a thought, voltmeter it up!

well i have a cel for the stupid fuel tank sensor that i have but havent replaced yet. ill throw my scanner on it tomorrow to see if shes throwing another code

its the fuel tank pressure sensor. its up on top of the fuel tank. i dont feel like dropping it down to replace it lol. i have the sensor sitting on my entertainment center i just have to do it
