It's an old 3.5" Rubicon Express lift and a first-generation Custom 4x4 Fabrications winch bumper.

Cherokees FTW!! I have one as well, an '01 Sport. It's got the 4.0 motor, AW4 trans, 8.25" Chrysler rear and NP231 transfer case. It's a workhorse, and it's been good to me over the years. I recently had the cats replaced under Federal warranty, but the rest of the truck is cheap and easy to maintain. I did a rear disc conversion for under $400 using junkyard calipers and brackets, and all new rotors/pads/e-brake cables and hardware. And I just got a Dynomax cat-back for $125 shipped through Amazon. Tuneups are cake to do, as are brakes and oil changes. Mine is done up as a "StreetJeep" though, since I can't afford to break my daily driver, and there is no where up in this area of NJ to wheel it legally anyway.
 Go for it!

There are a few different v8s that came in the Grand Cherokee, depending on what year you are looking at.

Cherokee and Grand Cherokee are two completely different vehicles....
