Why would one weld the diff pin? What are you trying to achieve?

X2. What are you trying to do? Make a cheap "spool" for it?

Sort of. It would be a no-slip deal. Not even a differential.

One would have to yank the entire engine/trans axle to do this right?

Lots of money to accomplish...?

You can probably just drop the transaxle to do it. There is a multitude of reasons not to do it, money is just one of them.

Diff PIN not DIFF.

If you weld the pin the pin cant come out and wreck your trans. Its ok, Im not having it done, I will be trading this car in in a few weeks.
