I was already at NYIAS and my opinion stands the same. Not everyone is going to like the same thing, while some people might think this car is awesome I am not one of them. The outside is pretty decent, but the interior is hideous. I'm glad I did not wait for this to come out.

Says the man who drives this every day...
I love Mini's, but the interior always reminded me of thoes "guess your weight" machines on the boardwalk.

rofl all over this thread. if your talking bout ugly interiors and you own a mini...its time to end that argument. at least the old school mini interiors were pretty nice.
still not digging the camaro. the backup lights need to be inset inside the rear lights on the c5's

But it's sexy? Right? It says it in that pic numerous times.
I agree with Tsar on the dash. The 2 big gauges are not good.

Says the man that thinks that this car is "not bad":
I'll take the interior of my car anyday over the 5th gen, in fact I did. My money went to BMW instead of GM, but hey they probably don't need any of my money because they are doing so great

I agree that the 2 gauges take back from the interior.
On a side note-the thread has reached a general consensus that if you drive a mini and think its interior is sexy:

So if I do not drive a turd gen or drive a car that my daddy owns I'm not allowed to state my opinion? The interior reminds me of the planes I used to fly, I like it just fine
Thanks for trying.

Personally, I like it because I like it on my 72. Im a fan of small touches of bright work on modern cars.
IMO, the Camaro could go with some more bright work around the windows to break up the color.
Im not saying your opinion sucks...its that what your opinion is based on sucks.
See, you like your interior. Im not a fan, but in all honesty it wouldnt prevent me from buying a Mini.
Im not buying the Camaro for its interior design, Im not buying it for its passanger compacty, or its abilty to rock crawl over mountains. Im not buying it for its towing ability or how it can float in water...
Im buying it because I love the design of the car, I love the feel of the car, I love how I fit in the car, and as soon as I get to drive it, Id love to complete it with loving the ride.
The Aztek, at least the idea of teh car, isnt bad.
The car, overall, is a bit of a disaster. Concept was better. It looks like a Trans Am Crossover.

Well like I said before, as long as the owner of the car (potential owner in your case) likes it, that's all that matters

Getting back to the paint color, if it was called Dark Gray Metallic would anybody go crazy over it. I think the Daytona Pace Car scheme is awesome and really brings out the color, but I have to say that a RED or Bright Blue would really stand out. This Cyber Gray by itself is rather BLAH and belongs more with the BMW crowd. Just my
