Are you running a front plate?

I bought a front plate cover off a member of Tech & I should have it in the next few days.

I'm kind of worried about putting it on though... but I hate having that damn license plate mess up the front of the car.

How many of you guys are running no front plate?

I frequent Rt. 208, a number of towns in Bergen County, Rt. 23, Rt. 46, Rt. 287 & a few towns in Middlesex County... Do you guys think I'll get hassled for it?

yes. I recently bought my front cover, and only ran it for a month before I pulled it off. It doesn't bother me to run the plate.

as ugly as the front plate makes the front of the car look. ask yourself if it's worth the ticket or not. no front plate is just a reason to get pulled over.
i know they alter the nice looks of alot of cars but imo it's not worth the hassle.

my dad didnt use a front plate when he had my car, i run one becuase if i dont it just gives a cop an excuse to pull me over.....then again i drove from roxbury to millville and back with the plate filler on and was never stopped

my buddy was pulled over twice within 2 weeks of not having a front plate on his new gti after he got a new nose...the plate is now ziptied to the grill lol, so is the one on the gto

i know their was a bill trying to be passed in nj to rid the front license plate law a year or 2 ago but i dont think it went anywhere unfortunately

i went about 5 months with no front plate on the car, but now that summer is here and I frequently am in the Seaside area, I zip tied it on so I don't get bothered.

I don't care about getting pulled over for something that stupid. I'm fortunate enough to be in the military and they just let stuff like that slide

they make nice retractable plate holders that mount to the underside of the bumper, so you can put it down for pics or shows, and be legal when driving.
i have one, its pretty nice

putting the plate in the dash board only reminds the cops its not on your front bumper. i refuse to run a front plate. its retarded.

front plate on the dash is obstruction of vision and no front plate double own

i got a ticket though when i drove with no front plate so i am going to grab a retractable thing i think. that or zip ties.

Never had one. No problems yet - maybe the cops have an appreciation for a beautiful car.

nope, haven't for a couple of years, I will not drill into my grille. I keep the plate in the backseat so I have an excuse as to why it's not mounted in the front if I get pulled over.
