Its amazing how people can like a car with a different nose, but then hate it with another...yet be exactly the same in every single other respect?

Anyway, if this car comes, it wont be sold to Police agencies. It wont have any fleet unless Police want to pay retail for one.
Caprice will probably sell 30-40k a year. Impala will continue to be the full size volume seller/fleet queen.

LS7 Z28 Camaro? I know they were looking for an alternative for the LS7 because of it's costs, but my god if there is one thing I wish, is that they made the Z28 with the LS7 if they aren't going with the LSA

i dont like the pontiac g8 at all...nothing about the car appeals to me...the nose is just something that offends me. it looks too much like a bmw to be a pontiac...however the chevy front gives it just enough of that classy street fighter look.


id keep it exactly as pictured. spoiler and all.

yup, gotta fit the usa spec safety equipment.....like al has said several times, it will look 99.9 percent like the g8.

Meaning as long as the current G8.

G8 has the US spec front and rear bumper, which does make the car a little longer then the Aussie/ME spec version.

But, thats if Holden were to start building Caprice's tomorrow.
We wont see this Chevy Commodore till the VF update shows up late next year most likely. VF will incorperate a lot of what GM learned with Camaro, along with what Holden learned from its customer base since 2007.
The VE will get a major revision this year for the Homeland, which will include 6spd auto transmissions for all but base fleet, 3.6 SIDI engine like in the Camaro, a 3.0 SIDI engine for fleet/base, along with some other tweeks.
VF will almost be a totaly new car. Major work is being done to thin the A pillars on the car, as well as cut the weight further since there is a growing focus for Greener cars. Next Commodore could be some 100-200lbs lighter then the current model, which could also trickle down to Camaro.
