OP - although its not the GT or spec B, it still a decently powerful 4banger. i see it says they did the timing belt and clutch, ask them if they did the head gaskets or front oil seal. if they did not and there is oil leaking around the pan, side of the block pass on the car. subarus can last a very long time, just keep up on the basics and fix whatever went wrong. also make sure it aint rotted out underneath

My buddies complain about the paint on these cars being extremely soft so the rear bumper that bonzo mentioned might be bad...
+1 for Saturn

wow, i cant believe anybody would encourage this. i thought this was an f-body forum? while i understand you received tickets in the camaro, i dont think it was the cars fault.
why did you want the camaro? power, looks, comfort, ??????????
sure you may get better fuel mileage with the subaru, but its ugly and always will be no matter how many body kits or glow stick you throw at it. this is my opinion and you need to do what you feel is right, just remember speeding is speeding no matter what your driving. good luck.

we all know it's the nut behind the wheel, but if he feels he cannot control himself any other way then so be it. he also said "plus ive had my fun", indicating he's perhaps grown tired of the camaro. he can always buy another camaro down the road if he wants.

I put 15k of nothing but pure abuse on my Saturn. About 30 people learned stick in it and the only reason I was forced to get rid of it was that it needed tires, brakes, clutch and a camshaft position sensor. The tires and brakes are stuff things that need to be done on any car, the clutch was my fault for letting anyone that wanted to learn drive it. The Saturn had 112k when we bought it for $2000, had 130k when we sold it for $500. It will be my favorite car, fun and great on gas. Sounded like a beast with an aem cai and ran 15.7 with 2.4+ .60's..

I have to agree with Scott here. I generally drive way more aggressively in my Saturn than I do in my Camaro. Once in a while, I'll open her up, but I do that for fun. I recently got in trouble for opening her up like you did. The cop was way more lenient towards me, but it's not something to sell your car over if you like it. Unless you want something more practical, then sure. I love subies too and my buddy has a shop in LI strictly for them.
Good luck my man.
