Now i'm on a crew team, work out everyday and eat the same, i started dropping weight finally and still can't run well. The weight you put on your knees is bad, unless your really tall 320 lbs is now running condition. I have a friend whose 6'3 and 330 and he works out a good bit, but knows he really can't run much because it will ruin his knees. My advise is do low impact exercises for your body such as biking alot, aka, bike to asbury park, then up or down the coast and back, or go swimming, at least a solid hour per session. I swam for 12 years competitively and it is honestly one of the best workouts you can do, i haven't swam in a year, and its noticable when you get back in. Legs aren't as strong, backs not as strong. Bottom line is running is great but for bigger people its not good for your body, slim down and build more muscle before putting that kind of impact on your knees.
Also if your eating 5 meals a day, and only eating 1500 calories, thats 300 per meal so that's a glass of milk and like three pieces of meat with a slice of bread. Dude i doubt your daily intake is that low, i take in close to 1000 calories daily in fluids alone between Gatorade, milk, apple juice and the occasional soda. Just saying if you are that low its no bueno man.
Sorry if it came out harsh, but it was meant to be helpful, and comes from experience with weight man. Just trying to help you out.

Get your body temp, heart rate, and breathing up and going, before going outside. Then its not so much of a shock.

More to this point-
If you are trying to lose weight, get a good heart rate monitor (such as a Polar) and use that as a "coach" on your wrist. Aim for the lower part of your working heart rate to lose fat, aim for the upper to burn calories/improve cardio fitness. This way you can tell if you are really working hard or if you are wasting your time, and you can regulate your effort to go longer/shorter if you have to.

I gotcha man, i mean when it starts to warm up a bit... also try going somewhere away from home to just walk. Like anchorage in seabright to the end of the longbranch boarkwalk and back is 15 miles iirc, thats a good place to walk run when it warms up, there are plenty of places to stop and take a break, plus its not like being right around the corner from your house where you can cut your route short.
