Jan 1st, I don't even have a y-pipe for it yet! I just bought the headers while they were still at a great price. I still need to remove the rest of the cat y-pipe before I can install the headers. But the old stuff is off and out of the way. Anybody have thoughts on the best gaskets to use? I forget which brand I used on the 68 but they held up good. I'll eventually go with dual cats on the y-pipe but I'll just run an off-road y-pipe to get it back on the road. Man, it's so much fun working on a car this time of the year!

That's the best thing from last night and today, no smashed knuckles, no lost skin and no lost blood! I almost had the ratchet fall on my head a couple of times but I was able to react fast enough to avoid it. I will say that the electric impact gun is a big bonus to have. It's a little too big and I had to jack the car higher a few times but for some of those rusted and stubborn bolts/nuts it's a knuckle saver.

I'll have to wait until there's foursome ready to tee off on the 11th hole across the street so I can fire it up with open headers!

Cats and no muffler is the way to go. eaisly the best sounding and doesnt hinder peformance too much.

D@m, I just tweaked my back shoveling snow so I won't be doing any more work on the header install today.
