Need a Rear End Shop that does C Clip Eliminators
Does anyone know of a shop that does good work on rears? I have a second gen rear and I want to have C-Clip eliminators welded on the end of the tubes. How much does this generally cost? I would like a good shop since I am not interested in dying. Anyone know where I can get the rear end powdercoated for a good price?

Do you mean you want a 9" ford style housing end done? C clip eliminators usually just bolt to the out side of the flange.

It looked like Moser had two types of C-Clip eliminators. The bolt on type that required you modify the backing plate for the drum brake setup and a weld on type that replaced the current ends. I posted the link to the page that has the ends I am talking about. If I am wrong please tell me so I don't continue to go dow the wrong path here.

Like I said that is a totally new housing end which uses a old Ford style bearing. Definately better than a c-clip eliminator kit but may require changine the axles.

We can do the work for you.
If the axels need to be changed, you may have to upgrade your carrier as well.
Installing the housing ends, new axels, and new posi unit will cost around $1400 parts and labor
Obviously, if you do not need everything the price will be lower.

What are the labor charges on putting the ends on and setting up the carrier?

He is not asking about c-clip eliminators, he asked about 9" ends which require alot more work but are stronger and do not have the leaking problems traditionally associated with the retro fit kit..
