Results from Etown 3/19/05
Whats up guys. I took my 95 trans am out to etown yesterday and i was pretty happy with my numbers. Ran the car five times..
My best Time was 14.018 at 98mph with a 2.046 60' f
I was cutting consistent 14.0** all day. My mods are a SLP cai, vortech elbow, airfoil and nitto street tires. I was pullin hard for a 13.99 but it didnt happen today. The track conditions were excellent. SLP Loudmouth is on the way so hopefully that'll put me in the high 13's

My exact mph on that run was 98.01. My best mph of the day was 98.87. Not sure why our mph's are the same

Honestly, for having a CAI, 98 MPH is a tad low. These things usually trap right about 99-100 bone stock. Do you have any idea what the DA was when you were at the track?

This may sound stupid but what do you mean by DA? I was also running on 3/4 tank of gas which maybe slowed me down a bit?

Density Altitude. Basically an equation that takes the weather conditions and corrects the track altitude to the weather altitude. The warmer and higher the humidity the higher the density altitude, meaning the air is less dense translating into slower times.

I live in Marlboro which is about 10 min from the track so whoever wants to meet up and go piss those people off im good for it haha...From what i heard they are going to ban cutouts and Loudmouths. I ordered The Loudmouth II so hopefully they won't ban that one

If they ban the Loudmouth, you're out too....the only difference in yours is that it is much easier to swap in a different muffler to quiet things down.

The new exhaust systems from SLP are modular....meaning you can swap the muffler to one of their other offerings (or any other muffler with the same dimensions) without cutting and re-welding the system.

If you have a stock exhaust system with a cutout or Loudmouth, I'm not too sure how strict they will be with it. I'm sure its mostly meant for the guys with headers, no cats, and running an open exhaust. Those are about 20x louder than a stock exhaust system with cutout/loudmouth.
but its Etown, so who knows
